True friends are hard to come by

Porscha Tompkins and Tanisha Billops

True friends are definitely hard to come by.   Porscha and I have been friends for more than 25 years.  Damn…did I just age myself. 🤷‍♀️ Any who, she is one of few close friends that I grew up with and still a regular part of my life. Although we live hours away from one another we talk often.  We can just chat away for hours on the phone.  She has been there with me through thick and thin.  At one point we were even roommates in college!  Those days were not pretty by any means, but we managed to remain friends despite, the arguments over ramen noodles and borrowed clothes without asking.  Boy, have we come a long way since then!

I recently went to visit Porscha in Southern California and stayed at her spot.  She was a great hostess.  We had so much fun hanging in

downtown Long Beach and walking the Hollywood strip.  A few girls nights out was just want I needed.  The mom and pop restaurants in SoCal are also awesome.  I ate so much great food and drank a lot of 🍷

Porscha if you are reading this, you are such an amazing woman.  You are talented, smart, funny, and giving. I feel so lucky to have such a great friend!  Looking forward to turning it up again soon on another trip!
